People we Reach

Bantu Hope reaches the people on Central Africa to share the three angels’ message. Most people in Central Africa worship the spirit of their deceased ancestors, and live to cater to them for blessings or in fear of punishment. They believe God is so remote that He is out of reach. Therefore, the Bamileke people believe that the spirits of their death ancestors, if carefully introduced into the spiritual family, become gods and serve as intercessors between the living and the most High God, who is out of reach.

Our Evangelism Model Tollows 3 Steps:

1/ From  Compassion: We strive to become a channel of God’s love and kindness to the Bantu people in Central Africa by following the example of Jesus Christ – The One whose compassion never fails. During Jesus earthly ministry, the hungry was fed, the naked was clothed, the sick was healed.  2/ To Building Relationships:  Everything that we do is for the purpose of reaching people’s hearts with the love of Jesus and getting to know them. Therefore, we are driven by relationship and not by task. If we are donating a mosquito net to help a young mother protect her child against malaria, we care more about the opportunity given to get to know the family and to engage our hearts and lives more than we care about the cost of the mosquito net. We are mindful to use God’s resources appropriately, but we place a g reater e mphasis on hearts and lives. After all, Jesus gave it all for them too.

3/ To Sharing Christ:  It is only after the poor are relieved, the sick cared for, the sorrowing and the bereaved comforted, the igno rant instructed, the inexperienced counseled that we point them toward Calvary. It is only after we have build a relationship with the local population and won their confidence through our compassionate outreach ministry that we share Christ with the people when they are ready to listen.
